Little Jizo in the Woods at Great Vow Monastery

The woods at Great Vow Zen Monastery is home to many images of Jizo-- this little one is hand-carved and nestled next to a larger statue. It wears a little red hood that was sewn as a healing memento and a prayer for the safe passage of a loved one.
